AARON’S ACRES
Aarons Acres now has a Sunday Rec for 5-13 years. The program runs from 1:30-4pm. They also have a Friday Night get together for young adults with Special Needs. This is for ages 13-21. More information can be found at www.aaronsacres.org There is a cost for the program and registration is coming to an end.

ASD HOPE is a group of parents and professionals located in Central Pennsylvania and dedicated to helping families find the answers that will help their children.  Their Parent Information Packet is meant to serve as a resource of information and hope, and contains a “Top 10” list of things to do once you receive an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis as well as listings of treatment options and local agencies you may need to contact.

Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania Altoona Office offers Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Aquatic Therapy and Sensory Integration to individuals of any age. We also offer an Autism Resource Center open to anyone in the community who wishes to learn more about Autism and what other services are offered in the Blair County area. The Autism Resource Center is also a lending library for the community to access books, DVD’s, and computers to perform internet searches. We also offer an Autism Support Group which takes place the fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm held in the Autism Resource Center open to anyone in the community.
