The Office of Academic Placements is an integral component and extension of the education and community service core missions of Penn State Hershey. The goal of the Office is to provide student learning opportunities that allow for career explorations in allied health and the biomedical sciences. Sekhar receives grant to study iron deficiency screening
Dr. Deepa Sekhar, assistant professor of pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine, has received one of three Sackler Institute for Nutrition Sciences Research Awards.
