Get Quit-Stay Quit Study
Want to quit smoking?
The Tobacco Intervention Program at the Penn State College of Medicine is conducting a study to help smokers get quit and stay quit. Services to be provided to study participants are:
A health and tobacco addiction assessment at the first visit, including breath measurement of lung function and exhaled carbon-monoxide
2 weeks of nicotine patches with the ability to purchase additional weeks’ supplies at reduced cost
6 weeks of smoking cessation group counseling with trained smoking cessation counselors
