Welcome to Penn State Child Life Program

Child Life programs in health care settings strive to promote optimum development of children, adolescents, and families by providing age appropriate programming to enhance coping, and minimize emotional distress. As integral members of the health care team in both the ambulatory care and inpatient settings, Child Life staff provide opportunities for learning, for self-expression, for family involvement, and for peer interaction.

A day of remembrance for our children

To see their faces again - A day of Remembrance for our Children

Many of us have had the special privilege of knowing your children. Others have only seen glimpses of how they have touched your lives.

The staff of Penn State Hershey Medical Center and our community partners invite you to share in a day of remembrance to honor their lives.

When: Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Where: Founders Hall at The Milton Hershey School

Participants may choose to attend the full day of activities or just part of the day.

Registration is requested by March 31, 2014.

Click here to register online or you may call Nicole Hahnlen at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital's Hummingbird Program at 717-531-3558.
