Endocrinology and Diabetes
The pediatric endocrinology service staff at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital cares for patients who have been diagnosed with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes and low blood sugar; growth and failure to thrive; obesity, early and late puberty; adolescent menstrual and breast problems; metabolic and genetic bone disorders; problems of thyroid, adrenals, pituitary, and genitalia; high cholesterol and other lipid disorders; fluid and electrolyte abnormalities; and various inborn errors of metabolism.
