Colon Cancer Prevention 5K Run and Fun Walk
In Honor of William F. Foran
Join us for the Seventh Annual Foran Colon Cancer 5K Run & Fun Walk! Runners and walkers will enjoy a well-measured, flat course with no traffic.
WHERE: Carousel Pavilion on City Island, Harrisburg, PA
WHEN: Saturday, June 1, 2013. Race begins at 8:30 a.m., rain or shine.

This annual race is held to raise funds for colorectal cancer prevention, testing, and counseling at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Over $50,000 has been raised over the past five years for the colon cancer genetics program.
Thank you for participating in the 6th Annual Colon Cancer Prevention 5K. Several records were set including a record number of participants! Ryan Blood established a new race record in 15:12; breaking his prior record by three seconds. Lara Crofford, 7th overall in 17:15, set a new women's record.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Penn State Colon Cancer Genetics Program and will also be used to purchase a resource book for newly diagnosed colorectal cancer patients. We again thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you next year!
