Registration
All patrons must register at the circulation desk prior to checking out material. Anyone over the age of sixteen may register. Children under the age of sixteen must have an adult register for them.
Circulation
Books and audiovisuals circulate for two weeks. They can be renewed one time for an additional two weeks if they have not been reserved by another patron.
Overdue notices will be sent out after material is at least two weeks overdue. After a third notice is sent, the patron's library privileges are suspended until the material is returned or paid for. The replacement cost for lost material is its current cost plus a $10.00 processing fee.
Materials may be reserved. The patron will be notified when the material is available.
Photocopying
Patrons may photocopy library material free of charge. Patrons will be charged $.10 / page for all other copying. Patrons must abide by the Copyright Law posted on the copier.
The Library is made possible by the combined commitment of community individuals who have contributed to the library foundation, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and the College of Medicine of Penn State University.
The Library is funded by Women's Health Education Institute, the Children's Miracle Network, Wells Foundation and additional grants and donations.
Donations may be made by mailing a check to the library's address, made payable to Penn State University with the notation WHGF - Library.
