Ways to Give
Alan H. Schragger Fund
Alan H. Schragger Fund supports educational dermatology programs at Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and enables the Department to offer expert clerkships and core lectures as well as one of the top residency programs in the nation.
The physicians of Advanced Dermatology Associates, Ltd., are proud to announce the establishment of an educational endowment to honor Dr. Alan H. Schragger as he retires from private practice.
On December 10, 2005, Advanced Dermatology Associates honored Dr. Schragger at a private reception, as he began a new chapter in his life. During that-evening, we retired his Advanced Dermatology Physician "number," so that no future associate will be able to claim the number "1." A jersey with his name and number will be hung in our office as a way of paying tribute to Dr. Schragger for all that he has done to benefit each of us. Additionally, we also surprised him with the announcement of this educational endowment in his honor.
In recognition of Dr. Schragger's many contributions to dermatologic education, the "Alan H. Schragger Fund for Program Support in the Department of Dermatology" is being established at Penn State College of Medicine. This endowed educational fund will provide ongoing resources to support educational activities in the field of dermatology. It will enable the department to continue to offer some of the best clerkships and core lectures in the College of Medicine, as well as offering one of the best residency programs in the United States. We have all been fortunate to have Dr. Schragger make a difference in our lives and for that we are grateful. In honor of his years of service and dedication to the patients and families he has served, we are asking you to make a gift to this very special educational fund.
