Grand Rounds for Pennsylvania Dermatologists
Guest Lecturer- Dr. Moise Levy and Dr. Steve Purcell(who represents the Alan Schragger Endowment)
Penn State Hershey Dermatology offers Grand Rounds once a month during the academic year, September through June.
Patient volunteers are available for examination from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Dermatology Clinic located in Suite 100 of the University Physicians Center. The case discussions are held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Lecture Room D. The conferences are attended by a large number of dermatologists from the Central Pennsylvania area, many of whom invite patients with challenging diagnostic or therapeutic problems. We have several visiting professors each year. The visiting professors participate in the case conference and also present a lecture from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Dermatology Grand Rounds is recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology for 3 hours of AAD Category 1 CME credit, and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology's Continuing Medical Education Award. In addition, Penn State College of Medicine designates this educational AACME activity for a maximum of 3 AMA PRA Category 1
credit(s).
All Pennsylvania Dermatologists are welcome to attend the meetings. We look forward to continued growth of the Dermatology Grand Rounds program in the coming year.
