The Penn State Hershey Emergency medicine residency program enrolls 8 residents per year, following a PGY-1,2,3 format. With greater than 64,000 emergency department visits at our primary and community teaching site each year, high patient acuity and patient variety, our residents are provided with an exceptional clinical experience. Through a curriculum focused on providing the full range of topics and experiences crucial to development as emergency medicine physicians and cutting edge simulation experience in our state of the art simulation center, we are able to provide an unparalleled education.
