There is a $35 cost per person for this course. This program is for anyone, age 9 and above, interested in learning the life-saving skills of CPR. Non-medical individuals who require certification for their jobs may also attend. The course includes adult CPR, child and infant CPR, instruction in choking relief and AEDs, and a skills test. There is no written test. A two-year certification card is issued at the completion of the class. Penn State Milton S. Hershey employees interested in attending this course may attend and show their ID badge to have the registration fee waived.

Health Care Provider Basic Life Support
This course is intended for community medical professionals requiring certification for their jobs. This blended online and live course is suitable for either initial certification or renewal. Part 1 may be purchased directly at OnlineAHA.org and includes the cognitive portion and the written test. Individuals may choose either the traditional BLS Health Care Provider course or Heartcode BLS, which utilizes e-simulation. Parts 2 and 3 consist of skills practice and testing with a live instructor. There is a cost of $25 for the skills practice and testing session. Penn State Hershey employees may register for this program internally on the Infonet at no cost.
