Penn State Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery
We are a multispecialty group of dedicated physicians/surgeons who use state of the art technology and techniques to perform minimally invasive or keyhole surgery. The techniques are applied over a broad range of surgical procedures and organ systems.
The major advantages to this type of surgery include reduced post operative pain, decreased hospital length of stay and earlier return to pre operative function. We implement advanced surgical techniques and also the use of the newest generation in laparoscopic/ minimally invasive technology to achieve excellence and safety. These techniques have allowed us to perform new, complex and conventional procedures without the major risks associated with a large open incision.
