Penn State Hershey Pediatric Neurosurgery provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children with a wide variety of pediatric neurosurgical disorders through Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, including:
- Brachial plexus injuries
- Brain, skull base, and spinal cord tumors
- Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia (spasmodic) and treatment of spasticity
- Chiari malformations and syringomyelia
- Craniosynostosis and craniofacial disorders (in conjunction with the Craniofacial Center)
- Epilepsy surgery (including resections, hemispherectomy, callosotomy vagal nerve stimulators)
- Head and spine trauma
- Hydrocephalus and intracranial cysts
- Molding helmet therapy for positional plagiocephaly (in consultation with Orthotics)
- Neurosurgical endoscopy
- Pituitary tumors
- Prenatal counseling for fetal brain and spinal anomalies
- Shaken Baby Syndrome
- Spina bifida and other congenital brain and spinal disorders (in conjunction with the Spina Bifida Clinic)
- Spinal cord tethering
