Welcome to Penn State Hershey Pediatric Sleep Medicine
Welcome to Penn State Hershey Pediatric Sleep Program at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. We care for all type of sleep-related health conditions including sleep apnea, apnea of prematurity, insomnia, restless sleep and narcolepsy. We also work in coordination with Penn State programs for Adult Sleep Medicine, Pediatric Neuromuscular Disorders and Home Mechanical Ventilation to provide state-of the-art techniques in nocturnal continuous or bi-level positive airway pressure (CPAP and BiPAP) in children with complex respiratory needs. Our pediatric sleep laboratory uses the most advanced methods to study sleep and breathing throughout the night in children; from newborns to adolescents. Pediatric sleep studies are conducted at the Penn State Hershey Sleep Research and Treatment Center which is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Our team approach ensures that every child benefits from an individualized plan of care. We consider children and their families as part of this team.
