Welcome to Penn State Respiratory Care, a department that is an integral part of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. We specialize in providing all of the ventilatory and hemodynamic care to patients in the Surgical, Medical, Neonatal, and Pediatric ICUs, in addition to performing routine Respiratory Care throughout the hospital.
In addition, the Pulmonary Function Laboratory performs routine spirometry through cardiopulmonary stress exercise testing. The Pulmonary Lab is located in the University Physician's Center, Suite 2018. It has a total of three, "state of the art" spirometers, two of which have body plethysmographs.
