The Penn State Cancer Institute Liver, Pancreas, and Foregut Tumor Program is a multidisciplinary effort to provide world class care and research for tumors of the liver, pancreas, and foregut. Over the past 8 years this program has developed into a nationally recognized center of excellence for the treatment of these challenging malignancies. This has allowed for seamless patient care between the various departments and has created a collaborative spirit which is beneficial for the patients and physicians.
In order to improve surgical training at Penn State University and further the goals and aims of our Cancer Institute, we have established a fellowship to train future leaders in academic liver, pancreas, and foregut surgery. The Liver, Pancreas, and Foregut Fellowship is a is a non-ACGME approved clinical fellowship with ample opportunities for clinical and basic science research. The focus of the fellowship is in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of complex pancreatic, hepatobiliary, gastric, and esophageal cancers.
The Liver, Pancreas, and Foregut Fellowship at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is not accepting applications at this time. Please check back with us periodically. We appreciate your interest in our program.
