Speech Therapists
Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. Our speech/language pathologists work with patients of all ages and with a variety of functional deficits. Patients come to speech language pathology to work on speech deficits from simple to complex. In addition many patients come to speech/language pathology to work on thinking skills and compensatory strategies for functional decline in memory or other thought processes.
Our speech and language pathologists are also experts in feeding and swallowing. They recommend feeding and diet techniques for individuals who do not have the ability to eat normal foods or with normal techniques.
