University Fitness Center - Short Term Affiliations Membership
Every new membership starts with an orientation where a fitness staff member introduces you to the facility, services, and policies. An introduction to our equipment and services, our goal with the orientation is to get you started on the right foot and help you to establish a basic workout plan. This plan may include use of the facility and equipment, taking classes, and finding ways to be active outside of the facility-at home, at school, or at work.
This group includes individuals with limited-term affiliations with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center or the Penn State College of Medicine. Included are visiting students (medical, physical therapy, pharmacy, etc), dependent children on break from school, and temporary employees (such as visiting nurses or summer employees). Spouses and significant others are also eligible to join.

Court Memberships
Court memberships are not included in regular membership dues. For additional information on our Racquetball and Squash courts, please visit our Facilities section.
Please note that the fee must be paid for the total duration of the affiliation or a $5.00 per month processing fee will be charged.
A dependent is someone who is claimed on a parent's or guardian's tax records. Full time students between the ages of 18 and 24 are considered dependents. All individuals under the age of 18 must complete the UFC's Youth Certification Program to be eligible for membership.
